Travertine is often sold as marble, even though it is not. Travertine and marble are similar in origin, in that they are a type of limestone and Travertine is formed in hot springs or limestone caves. They are both extremely durable, quite beautiful and very popular with builders and designers. Our table is a striking cream color, with bands of beige & light tan, with a powder coated finish. It is an elegant, contemporary style that is designed to last and has been in our family for more than 25 years.
